I grew up in Stellenbosch. After completing high school, I studied at the Northlink College Hair Academy, in Cape Town, which is where I also graduated from.

I did my training in Cape Town at Linda of London Hair Design at the Mount Nelson Hotel. I learnt many techniques from the established big names working there and from watching the people I worked with.

 

After acquiring my trade test I moved back to Stellenbosch. I worked in a local salon for a short time before moving to Pearl Valley Golf Estate where I worked and ran the in-house hair salon.

 

When the time was right I decided to leave and start my own business which I have not regretted for one day. It has been 15 years now.
